About Batik Tubo Tubo is a typical Ternate batik. The name Tubo itself is a village in Ternate. Tubo Batik is inspired by the daily life of North Maluku residents. The motifs are fresh and unique, such as clove flowers, nutmeg or even island shapes. Not only that, there are also fish motifs, Halmahera angels and banana bebe. These motifs illustrate the closeness of the people of North Maluku to the nature of Indonesia.
Tubo from one of the oldest village names in Ternate. This village is located on the north side of the slopes of Mount Gamalama, Tobona. Because he used the name of the village, he made him try to make motifs that were typical of the local area and its surroundings.
The motifs presented on Tubo batik are usually endemic to the local area, such as jailolo, or a duck mouth banana called tobelo.
